This item arrived re-packaged and taped shut. It was used, broken and someone had tried to repair it before they returned it. Apparently there was no quality-control involvement in the re-selling of this item. It was supposedly new. The good news is that Amazon makes the return process relatively simple.

I purchased this compressor in 2009 to drain my drip irrigation systems for winter. I used it once to do that, blowing out the irrigation lines for approximately 12 small raised garden beds. Since then I have used it to inflate a few flat tires and it's otherwise been stored in a clean, dry tool shed. This fall when we fired it up to drain the irrigation system again, it did not work. After two days of trying to talk with tech support and to order a simple part, we are exactly nowhere. The company is extremely disorganized, can't transfer or return a call and can't even take an order for the defective part! The compressor is out of warranty even though we've only really used it once. Save your money and don't buy this piece of junk or anything else made by All Power America!

Im not happy with this compressor, I could get over the fact that it is really loud but I feel it does not work as well as it should. it takes along time to fill up the very small tank so even after just a couple of bike tires you have to wait to fill the system again. I would not recommend buying this, spend a little more and get a bigger one.
