DEWALT D55167 1.6 HP 200 PSI Oil Free High Pressure Low Noise Horizontal Portable Compressor

This compressor is a real knock out.
It goes up to 200 psi, That means more tool time before recharge compared to other copressors with same tank size.
Robust, Tank just feels thick, nice handles, guage protection.
I have used this with an air hammer for destroying concrete, automotive work etc.
It is a nice tire fill compressor because you can pump it up to 200 and wheel it around your cars and fill up without running the compressor.

It is loud, it is a compressor.
When draging it over objects be sure not to band the drain valve protruding from the bottom.

I needed a horizontal compressor to fit under a countertop. And I wanted something that wouldn't make me deaf. I looked at all the normal major brands and wasn't impressed with their reviews and performance. This one Didn't have the quantity of reviews I would have liked to see, but the ones I did read were just about like I'm writing now.
It's compact, but it holds more PSI, so it keeps up with the work. It's relatively quiet also. I don't use it daily though, and I've only had a it a couple months. But so far I'm happy with it.

THE DEWALT D55167 IS SUPER! VERY QUIET. I USE IT ALL AROUND THE HOUSE, SHOP, CARS AND YARDS. THE 200# COMPRESSOR IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN MY OLD 120# COMPRESSOR. THIS IS MY THIRD COMPRESSOR AND THE BEST. THE INPUT AIR FILTER IS A GREAT IDEA. CONTROLS ARE VERY SIMPLE AND EASY TO USE........
