Summary: A super compressor 2008-11-02
Comment: This a great unit does all that the makers claim of it and then some.....
However, my only complaint is that when it was delivered, it did not come with a bottle of that ever so important commodity called oil!
When you buy any other sort of engine driven item such as a lawn mower, weed wacker etc etc etc they always supply at least enough oil to get you started! They also make it even harder for you as they want your to use there own oil the 'all season' synthetic type which they give you an extended warranty on... However, again it easier said than done to just pop out and pick up the amount required.
Suffice to say I ended up having to oreder that on line and waiting for the delivery!
Now that i have finished whinning about that :-)
The unit it self is great the delivery of the item that I know was hard for a lot of you guys was wonderful as the delivery driver had a tail lift and placed the unit inside my workshop as well :-)
5 stars all around just the lack of oil is / was my only problem...
Please try to buy US made products when possible.....

Summary: The only one made in the USA! 2008-05-24
Comment: As expected, this compressor is top quality, made in the USA. Uses a 2hp Emerson motor, and Ingersol Rand pump. Quiet, smooth, well built. Handles all the home mechanic's compressed air requirements for tools and any other compressed air needs. Sears sells it for $459 which is an outstanding deal. You won't find a better built compressor in this class than this one. Highly recommended.
